Resident Archery Leg Tags 1965 - Present
Resident Archery Leg Tags first started being issued in 1965, prior to that there was an archery season for residents but you used your Gun Deer Leg Tag and you could only kill one deer per year. It's interesting the DNR ended use of these metal tags in 1979 to experiment with a paper tag before they decided to go with the "tear-off" back tag in 1983.
